Omaha Poker Game Rules

Intro

There are 2 major differences with the Texas Holdem version. The first difference is that players are dealt 4 cards instead of 2. The second difference is that players must use 2 of their 4 cards to make their poker hand.

Caribbean Sun Poker

Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Low

Step 1: The game starts with the first player sitting to the left of the dealer putting in the Small Blind (half of the Table's Lower Limit Stake) and the player left from that player puts in the Big Blind (Lower Limit Stake).

Step 2: Dealing round where players are each dealt 4 pocket cards (face-down).

Step 3: The player left of the Big Blind starts the first betting round.

Step 4: The dealer puts 3 community cards (face-up) in the middle of the table. These cards are shared by all players.

Step 5: The 2nd betting round.

Step 6: A fourth face-up Community card is put in the middle of the table.

Step 7: The 3rd betting round.

Step 8: The final (5th) community is placed in the middle of the table.

Step 9: The 4th and final betting round.

Step 10: The game ends with the showdown. Remaining players choose their best poker hand from 2 of their 4 pocket cards and 3 of the 5 community cards. The best poker hand wins the pot.
