Texas Holdem
Games
The most popular online poker game. When you logon to a poker room you
will immediately notice the larger number of Texas Holdem tables compared
to the other poker games. Most poker tournaments are Texas Holdem
tournaments. The game is usually played with up to 10 players sitting
virtually around a table. Players choose their best poker hand from 2
pocket and 5 community cards. The game has a total of 4 betting rounds.

Step 1: The game starts with the placement of 2 blind bets by the
first 2 players left of the dealer. The first blind bet is the Small
Blind (half the table lower limit) and the second blind bet is the Big
Blind (table lower limit).
Step 2: All players receive 2 pocket cards (face down). Five
community cards are placed face down in the middle of the table.
Step 3: The first betting round start with the player left of the Big Blind.
Step 4: Three of the community cards on the table are turned over.
Step 5: The
second betting round.
Step 6: The fourth community card is turned over.
Step 7: The third betting round.
Step 8: The final (5th) community is turned over.
Step 9: The fourth and final betting round.
Step 10: All remaining players choose their best hand from the 5
community cards and the 2 pocket cards that only the player him/herself
can see. The best poker hand wins the pot.
